Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries. The bookkeeper will also assist in preparing financial reports and reconciling bank statements. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in relevant software applications. Responsibilities Direct client facing contact and interaction enabling strong trusted relationships. Recording day-to-day financial transactions. Accounts payable and receivable processing. Maintenance of general ledgers BAS preparation and lodgment Wage, Single Touch Payroll and general payroll processing. Superannuation lodgments. Workcover and other payroll tax lodgments Undertake relevant end-of-month processes and reports. Assist with analytics reporting with other accountants and partners Develop KPIs for clients and their business. Requirements Must have extensive experience with Xero Preference for experience with Australian Bookkeeping Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
