Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for conducting software testing and quality assurance for applications. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop test cases based on the test design Create functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test Works with project team and ensures quality of assigned applications Maintains and generates data needed to execute test scenario/scripts Participates in design reviews for the functional test definitions and plans Reviews product requirement and design documents to determine scope of test development Works with QA Team and participates in the identification, development, creation and improvement of the testing processes/framework Regularly check the system for defects or issues Test Execution and reporting Report and document defects or issues to the development team Defines and executes test plans and technical test designs for complex projects. Executes functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test. Reviews Provides metrics and reports on test results/status. Documents test scripts in a common repository. Review user documentation and training materials for accuracy. Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Software Engineer or equivalent Deep understanding and interest in Quality Assurance and Software testing Knowledge in developing test scripts, system testing and debugging Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly Must be patient and keen to details Excellent problem solving skills Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Willing to work onsite daily in Ortigas, Pasig area Skills: Functional Testing Regression Testing Exploratory Testing Confirmation Testing Smoke Testing What We Offer: Opportunities for learning and career growth Collaborative and supportive team environment Exposure to diverse projects and technologies Access to mentoring and training programs for personal and professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
