Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible in conducting software testing and quality assurance for applications. Responsibilities Develop test cases based on the test design Create functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test Works with project team and ensures quality of assigned applications Maintains and generates data needed to execute test scenario/scripts Participates in design reviews for the functional test definitions and plans Reviews product requirement and design documents to determine scope of test development Works with QA Team and participates in the identification, development, creation and improvement of the testing processes/framework Regularly check the system for defects or issues Report and document defects or issues to the development team Executes functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test Reviews Provides metrics and reports on test results/status Documents test scripts in a common repository Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent Deep understanding and interest in Quality Assurance and Software testing Knowledge in developing test scripts, system testing and debugging Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly Knowledge with software automation testing is a plus Must be patient and keen to details Excellent problem solving skills Good oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and planning skills Ability to work independently and with a team Excellent problem-solving skills Willing to work with Hybrid set up (Work in the office, Ortigas Center, Pasig City and can work from home with computer/laptop and strong internet connection) Skills Functional Testing Regression Testing Exploratory Testing Confirmation Testing Smoke Testing Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
