About the Role
We\'re looking for an energetic and highly experienced HR Generalist to join our Cebu-based team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated HR professional with 5+ years of proven experience in employee and labor relations, employee experience, timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate brings a strong HR foundation and a forward-thinking mindset. You\'re capable of improving processes, leveraging digital tools, and driving a people-first culture. In this role, you\'ll lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.
You have exceptional attention to detail, a passion for process improvement and digital transformation (DX), and the ability to help shape a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing workplace through accurate, timely, and efficient HR operations.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Operations- Administer and manage government and company-mandated benefits, including HMO, loans, and annual APE.
- Coordinate payroll processes and timekeeping with internal teams and external payroll/accounting partners to ensure accurate and timely disbursements.
- Resolve payroll and benefits-related concerns, discrepancies, and documentation (e.g., BIR 2316, loan authorizations).
- Monitor statutory compliance and reporting (e.g., SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
- Conduct market research and employee feedback surveys to evaluate the competitiveness and effectiveness of total rewards programs.
- Oversee employee attendance records and coordinate with payroll for timekeeping accuracy and cutoffs.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of HRIS and employee files, ensuring data privacy compliance.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for employee movement, leaves, and other HR transactions.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual site-level engagement activities (e.g., site-wide events, team building, holiday events).
- Assist in implementing internal communications and initiatives that promote employee well-being, collaboration, and inclusion.
- Help gather and consolidate employee feedback (e.g., pulse surveys) and work with leadership to develop actionable insights.
- Actively participate in and support CSR, recognition, and wellness programs in partnership with the broader HR and site leadership teams.
- Serve as a site engagement representative to help align local programs with broader organizational goals.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair resolution aligned with labor laws and internal policies.
- Draft and manage employment-related documentation including regularization letters, movement notices, and policy updates.
- Support the creation and implementation of the Company Handbook and HR Manual.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor legislation and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, employee relations, and engagement.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, statutory benefits, and compensation frameworks.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Sprout) and digital payroll/timekeeping systems.
- Exposure to working with foreign stakeholders and cross-cultural teams is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, compliance, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and confidentially.
- Experience in timekeeping and payroll coordination, including dispute resolution.
- Competent in benefits administration, including HMO and government contributions.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with a process-improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in optimizing digital tools and HR systems for operational efficiency.
- Experience using AI-driven tools for workflow automation is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Working hours- Standard: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Early start option: From 6:00 a.m.
- Latest possible start: 10:00 a.m.
- Must work 8 hours/day
- 1-hour lunch break
- 13th month bonus
- Annual performance bonus and annual wage increases depending on individual and company performance
