Solutions Specialist

The MPS Solutions Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing managed print solutions for clients ensuring alignment with their business objectives and operational needs. The role will work closely with clients, sales teams, technical specialists, and vendors to deliver tailored, scalable, and cost-efficient print solutions that enhance productivity and reduce environmental impact.

Job Description

Solution Design & Development

  • Assess client print environments and business requirements to develop customized MPS solutions
  • Design end-toned managed print and document management architectures that integrate with client workflows, including security, mobility, and cloud solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved efficiency, and enhanced user experience through the use of print technology and software

Client Engagement & Collaboration with Sales Team

  • Work with clients to understand their unique business needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Collaborate with internal sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet both client expectations and company standards
  • Conduct product presentations and product demonstrations to showcase solution value and capabilities to clients and stakeholders, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during product demonstration or pre-selling cycle
  • Document POC Criteria results, Customer Sizing and Clients Minutes of the Meeting

Product Knowledge Transfer and Training

  • Provide product knowledge sessions to new Service Engineers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of product usage and maintenance
  • Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to the sales and technical teams
  • Offer on-site support and post-installation training to ensure customer satisfaction

Research and Development Support

  • Assist the Technical Support Manager and Sales Manager in researching new print technology models and evaluating market trends
  • Help identify new printer and copier models that align with customer needs and the company’s product portfolio

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, ensuring on time and successful solution implementation within budget

Quality Control

  • Ensure all designed solutions meet the company's quality standards, including compliance with technical specifications, industry best practices, and customer requirements
  • Conduct rigorous testing of solutions pre- and post-deployment to verify functionality, performance and security
  • Perform regular audits and reviews of existing managed print solutions to identify areas for improvement and maintain operational efficiency
  • Document and report quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of preventive measures
  • Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to incorporate client feedback into continuous improvement processes
Job Qualifications
  • Technical background in printers, copiers, or related technologies
  • Strong communication skills for training and presentations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
  • Experience in field service, installation, or pre-sales is an advantage
  • Willing to work onsite (Makati City)
