Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups to safeguard data and systems.
  • Manage access rights and permissions, ensuring systems security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology developments and security threats.
  • Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of technology resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Windows.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with system and network security practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
