Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups to safeguard data and systems. Manage access rights and permissions, ensuring systems security and compliance. Collaborate with departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs. Stay updated on the latest technology developments and security threats. Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of technology resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Specialist, or in a similar role. Proficiency with Windows. Knowledge of networking concepts, such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls. Familiarity with system and network security practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users. Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
