The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing collection activities, maintaining customer accounts, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles. Duties include but not limited to: Manage collection activities for a mixed portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances Communicate with customers regarding collections issues, payment inquiries, and invoicing concerns to facilitate resolution Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information and ensure proper documentation for all records Record and document collection efforts to maintain a detailed history of client communication and account status Handle communication through phone calls, emails, and meetings with clients and internal stakeholders Participate in conference calls with customers and internal partners to resolve past-due invoices and improve collection outcomes Ensure all collection activities are performed in accordance with established cadences, targets, and KPIs Coordinate monthly pre-authorized payments with customers and the Payments team Prepare and reconcile accounts, including short payments, unapplied credit balances, and credit notes Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management to support team goals and finance operations Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar accounting functions Proven experience in collections, account management, and reconciliation Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles High level of ethical judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Windows-based systems Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Professional and courteous demeanor with the ability to build strong client relationships Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, working effectively with internal departments and external partners Must be willing and able to work a schedule that follows North American business hours System requirements: Computer Processor: Intel 8th generation or newer / AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer Memory/RAM: 16 GB Computer OS: Windows 11 and future enterprise operating systems Storage: 500 GB SSD Primary Internet Connection: must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 5 Mbps for backup connection) Extra Monitor Microsoft Office License *Please send a copy of your CV in PDF format #J-18808-Ljbffr
