Job Opening: General Accounting Staff

We are looking for a General Accounting Staff to join our team This role is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position also supports the preparation of financial reports, assists in month-end and year-end closing, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities
  • Record and process financial transactions in the general ledger system.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Gather and organize data to support financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and gather financial information.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits and financial reviews.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Perform other related tasks to support the department’s objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BSA) or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in general accounting or related field preferred (but fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word); familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Work Setup
  • Office-based role.
  • Minimal physical effort required.
  • May require extended hours during month-end and year-end closing.
