The Role

We are seeking a talented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team at LMercado Agri-farms' in San Pedro City Laguna. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our accounting operations and contributing to the overall financial success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  2. Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  3. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  4. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  5. Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including data entry and document organisation
  6. Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the optimisation of accounting workflows

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role within the accounting/finance industry
  2. Strong proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  6. Familiarity with accounting principles and best practices
  7. A relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
