
Supply Chain Manager

Responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities- 1.1 Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
- 1.2 Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing/Procurement teams
- 1.3 Work with procurement, sales and buyers to source the right materials, products and services
- 1.4 Works with procurement in Monitoring the performance of suppliers, vendors and Service providers of the company, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; assist in identification and qualification of new suppliers
- 1.5 Collaborate with procurement, sales and buyers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards and targets.
- 1.6 Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, customers and buyers including service providers
- 1.7 Keep track of forecast and inventories and company’s cost of inventories; Ensure the right amount of materials and product is made at the right time.
- 1.8 Work with Accounting and Finance Department and Sales Department to determine best suppliers, vendors and distributors of the company.
- 1.9 Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- 1.10 Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- 1.11 Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
- 1.12 Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- 1.13 Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- 1.14 Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
- 1.15 Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
- 1.16 Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
- 1.17 Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
- 1.18 Analyze supply chain data and performance by organizing the movement of goods from distribution centers to customers and stores involves forecasting trends and managing inventories.
- 1.19 Plan and Implement supply chain strategy, ensuring that supply chain process bottleneck are identified and implement solutions in a timely manner and that supply chain performance is improved by looking for possible innovations of the supply chain processes
- 1.20 Conduct a good and constant communications with suppliers and clients to land more profitable deals to the company.
- 1.21 Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply and chain management of the company.
- 1.22 Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain management of the company.
- 1.23 Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain management while ensuring quality and safety company.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, or College Graduate preferably in Accounting, Management and other business related courses.
- At least 8 years’ experience in related field of work preferably in a similar manufacturing industry.
- Must have a previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar field.
- Strong Communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Excellent knowledge of the supply chain processes in the Manufacturing Industry.
