The Shift Manager oversees daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure quality service, cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and team coordination in a Korean BBQ dining setup. They lead the front and kitchen staff, manage guest concerns, and ensure smooth shift transitions. Key Responsibilities:Staff Supervision Manage and lead service crew, kitchen staff, and grill attendants during shift. Assign stations, monitor breaks, and ensure proper rotation of duties. Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings. Guest Service Ensure high standards of customer service at all times. Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently. Monitor table turnover and ensure smooth flow of dine-in service. Operations & Sanitation Monitor grilling stations, side dish replenishment, and buffet counters (if applicable). Ensure cleanliness and food safety protocols are strictly followed (especially for raw meats). Check that exhaust fans, tabletop grills, and other equipment are functioning properly. Administrative Tasks Submit end-of-shift reports (sales, inventory usage, incident logs). Assist with daily inventory checks and ordering when necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies and DOH/DTI/LGU standards. Cashiering & POS Monitoring Supervise cash handling and closing reports.
