SUMMARY

The Inside Sales and Customer Success Specialist will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing relationships with vendor partners. This individual will be responsible for creating quotes, submitting RFPs, and ensuring a seamless sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT VAR and Managed Services industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.

  • Provide product information and support to potential and existing customers.

Vendor Partner Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners.

  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, product information, and support.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable agreements.

Quote Creation:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely quotes to customers.

  • Collaborate with the sales team and vendors to ensure quotes meet customer requirements.

  • Track and follow up on quotes to convert them into sales.

RFP Submission:

  • Manage the RFP process from start to finish, including gathering requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and submitting proposals.

  • Ensure all RFPs are completed accurately and submitted on time.

  • Follow up on submitted RFPs to address any questions or concerns from potential clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business.

  • Conduct regular account reviews and technology check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement or additional services.

  • Work closely with technical teams to oversee onboarding, deployment, and ongoing support, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Proactively address any issues or discrepancies between what was sold and what is delivered, advocating for the customer internally.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track sales activities and provide regular reports to management.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and plans.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience in account management

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the IT, VAR or Managed Services industry.

  • Strong understanding of IT products and services.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • The ideal candidate would have experience with PSA/RMM/EDR/MDR

  • Strong and confident communicator comfortable engaging with C-level
    executives.

  • Excellent written communication skills; ability to craft persuasive emails and
    outreach messages.

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate urgency, and drive issues to
    closure.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first attitude.

  • Self-motivated, driven, with a dynamic and professional demeanor.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track and forecast lead generation goals
    accurately

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.

  • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
