As a Supervisor, Client Accounting, you will be part of a newly formed team of 10 client accountants with planned ongoing growth, servicing financial services vehicles in the U.S., Cayman Islands, Ireland, Singapore and other offshore jurisdictions. The role will be responsible for all or some of the following:

• Prepare management accounts (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual) for clients such as investment funds, holding companies, aircraft leasing entities and structured finance vehicles
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure deadlines are met
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff
• Act in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with all policies and procedures and internal guidance notes
• Escalate any business issues to the relevant management personnel
• Ensure proprietary systems are maintained with accurate data
• Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately and professionally
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and respond promptly to requests
• Display a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team members
• Ad-hoc projects, including reporting, as required

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting designation is a plus
• At least 5 years of professional work experience
• At least 1–2 years of experience coaching and managing junior staff
• Previous financial services, investment industry or accounting experience is strongly preferred

• Ability to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines
• Good Excel skills (SumIfs, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Power Query a plus
• Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes
• Team player with good time management, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• High attention to detail with large volumes of financial information
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Maintain and promote corporate values in internal and external activities
• Adhere to the highest ethical and social standards when dealing with colleagues and clients
• Deliver value to internal stakeholders by consistently providing high-quality service
• Respond promptly and professionally to requests for assistance
