About Our Client

Our client is a leading food manufacturing company based in the Philippines.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for daily operation for the entire plant, including the product quality and quantity and inventory management - all aspects of the business units and problem solving with the entire team - to achieve quality and output targets set by Management
  • Holds direct full site responsibility for the manufacture and timely delivery of orders for local and export markets by controlling the production planning and scheduling - controlling labour resources to achieve savings through labour efficiencies
  • Holds full plant responsibility for long-term technical and personnel expansion to ensure quality product supply and development - as well as the repair and maintenance of factory plants and equipment's
  • Manages organization with best business practices in line with Lean Manufacturing and Safety of Operations, as well as to further strengthen personnel growth - needs and implementation of staff training matrix together with overseeing the development of training programs
  • Manages and implements new quality assurance measures to meet international quality and safety standards and initiate new projects and focus on essential food safety (HACCP) requirements by setting up quality parameters for raw materials, ingredients and finished products
  • Responsible for ensuring top hygiene standard and efficiency by establishing and implementing quality management system for the entire plant
  • Responsible for Investment Applications (CAPEX) required to meet increasing demand by setting up and reviewing objectives, evaluating and implementing investment requirements and coordinating for new product launches
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of development, quality and purchase functions by liaising with internal purchasing and supply chain divisions - using Department KPIs, including wastage, compile weekly report of KPI's of cost per unit

The Successful Applicant

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree of any Engineering course with experience in food production or similar
  • Excellent management skills and strong personality
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, open-minded and willing to learn with a positive working attitude A drive to develop his/her career
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment and prepared to adapt to flexible working hours
