Job Descriptions Develops, implements and monitors the annual sales plan for his Region and is accountable for the attainment of budgeted sales volumes for his assigned region. Manages the Sales Supervisors under him and ensures that they meet their sales targets for their assigned accounts Personally handles assigned key accounts and ensures that expected sales for these are generated to meet sales budget for his Region Personally reactivates inactive key accounts assigned to him and works with his people in reactivating difficult accounts, grows existing active accounts assigned to him and his people, and develops new accounts for his team Provides verified market data on Competitor prices in his Region to the Sales Admin Manager for the Pricing Committee. Assures achievement of his Region’s sales target and takes action to correct underperformance of his Sales Representatives Monitors market situation in his Region, including competitors’ activities and recommends strategies to the Sales Head to maintain market dominance. Qualifications At least 15 years work related experience in a Managerial role preferably in a steel manufacturing industry and or construction materials. Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related courses from reputable universities, complemented by a well-rounded knowledge of Sales Strategies, Strategic Planning, Customer Satisfaction, Competitive Pricing and other related Sales Activities gained from seminars and formal training courses Has vast knowledge on the Sales Market to the assigned area.
