The desired candidate must be a highly organized and proactive individual who will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating various projects, ensuring smooth communication between different stakeholders, and supporting the team in achieving project goals. Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential for this role, as the coordinator will be required to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients, partners, and team members.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Facilitate communication between internal team members and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective exchange of information.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute project tasks.
  • Translate documents, emails, and other materials from Japanese to English and vice versa as needed.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and track key milestones.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during project execution.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and team members, such as scheduling meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination across projects and departments.
  • Assist in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project plans.
  • Generate reports on project status, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for client meetings and project reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Preferably with three (3) or more years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in Japanese and English languages (spoken: advanced level; written professional proficiency) is required
  • Proficient working knowledge in software development and project coordination or management in a multicultural environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Japanese business culture and etiquette is preferred
  • Preferably with Nihongo background and/or N1 or N2 JLPT level
