Product Manager

About the Role:

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic development and lifecycle management of products. This includes understanding customer needs, defining product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the product aligns with the company’s business goals. The Product Manager will manage the product roadmap and ensure the successful launch and growth of products in the market.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Define product requirements, features, and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with developers, project engineers, and designers to translate requirements into actionable development plans.
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Act as the main contact point for stakeholders, providing regular project status updates, soliciting feedback, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
• Assess and refine business development strategies and tactics to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.
• Ensure product quality and reliability through thorough testing and validation processes.
• Implement quality control measures to identify and resolve defects, bugs, and performance issues promptly.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in product management roles within the technology industry, with a focus on finance technology, AI, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, coupled with a deep knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory environments.
• Proficiency in AI programming language such as Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch), R, or Java, with experience in developing and deploying AI models.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic product initiatives that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
• Strong interest or background in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
• Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop products from inception through to market launch
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
