Job Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Underwriter to evaluate and approve loan applications while ensuring compliance with lending policies. You will analyze financial data, assess risk, and make informed credit decisions—playing a key role in balancing client needs with the company’s risk tolerance. Job Highlights Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 unpaid break | Manila Time Work Arrangement: Work from home Side note: Since this is a permanent work‑from‑home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process. Key Responsibilities Underwrite and approve/deny loan applications based on financial analysis, creditworthiness, and lending criteria. Conduct risk assessments, including review of income, debt‑to‑income (DTI) ratios, collateral, and credit history. Ensure loans adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Oversee the end‑to‑end loan process (application to disbursement), maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with sales teams to streamline approvals while mitigating risk. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and underwriting best practices. Occasionally provide customer support to clarify underwriting decisions or document requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Proven underwriting experience in banking, fin‑tech, or lending. Strong knowledge of financial statements analysis, underwriting software/tools (e.g., Moody’s, Loan Origination Systems), and industry best practices. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to work remotely and prioritize multiple applications. HMO Coverage for eligible locations. Permanent Work from home. Immediate Hiring.
