Senior Business Development Manager for IT SaaS Services

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic professional for the role of Senior Manager, Business Development, to help us launch our ancillary services in the middle east marketThis is an exciting opportunity for early to mid career professionals who love the classic “business development” and want to build their career in the same. It involves problem solving, understanding internal and external context quickly and ability to sell - both to corporates and governments Frequent domestic and international travel is a key part of this role.Ideal candidate is a graduate (MBA preferred) with 5-7 years of direct sales experience in SaaS/ IT services. Ability and temperament to take on business development targets, find new clients and grow with the existing clients, understand product and services, create and give impactful presentations, develop long term relationships are some of the key success factors for this role.Key Competencies:Problem solving - strategic and tacticalCommunication - verbal and presentationsAccountability and outcome ownershipClient Relationship managementCommercial orientationProduct mindsetLocal network and connectionsKey Accountabilities:Own product line(s) - and be accountable for revenue growth from new servicesWork closely with leadership, business, marketing, product teams, and other stakeholders to achieve product line/ client related objectivesBuild narratives and presentations in collaboration with leadership to expand and grow client portfolioDevelop pricing/ commercial models and create revenue/ cost forecastsResearch and identify new opportunities for existing productsLiaise with internal stakeholders to fulfil client requirementsKey Responsibilities Develop market analysis and strategy to identify key opportunities for specific markets in partnership with cross-functional sales, growth, and product teamsManage existing client relationships- be the face of the companyHunt new clients for product line(s)/ platformGrow business from existing clients as per plans/ projectionsRepresent the company in forums/ meetings / seminars aligned with responsibilitiesDeliver financial plans and goals for the business.Qualifications:Graduation in any field is required. MBA is preferred.Proven working experience in sales/ business development in SaaS or IT services - global experience preferred 5-7 years of total work experienceExcellent communication and presentation skillsGlobal mobility and willingness to travel extensivelyExcellent relationship-building skills across all levels of a partner’s organisation.Confident, extrovert salesperson by nature.You are self-aware and have a clear understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, beliefs, motivations, and emotions.Growth mindset - ability and willingness to learn new skillsSettle down quickly form relationships easilyFluent / Native English speaker and local languageFast learner - ability to grasp details quicklyOutstanding communication, presentation, and public speaking skillsYou are a hustler by nature.You know when to be calm, and when to be assertive.You listen more than you speak.
