Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
Job Description (Major Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain good working relationship with existing outright accountsAchieve target sales volume and margin of assigned accountsProspecting and acquisition of new accountsMonitor and report on customer and competitor performance (market share, situation and development, sell-thru and marketing activities)Ensure compliance to all documentary requirements of outright customersEnsure the efficient and smooth supply of the purchase orders and requirements for all accountsIdentify bottlenecks and overcome challenges in the deliveries of ordersAchieve accounts receivable targets in accordance with credit terms and policies. Assist collection department with call outs and collection of overdue accountsJob QualificationsGraduate of any 4 years business course (Bachelor's Degree)With at least 3-5years sales/retail working experienceHas an excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, proposals and reportKnowledgeable in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel and PPT)With pleasing personalityCan work under pressure and minimal supervisionKnow how to drive but not required
