JOB SUMMARY:

· Oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse (through third party logistics provider) comprising of receiving deliveries from vendors, replenishment and picking activities as well as delivery of merchandise and non-merchandise items to the stores · Develops systems and procedures to further improve operational efficiency and to optimize operating cost

· Plans all activities of the warehouse and ensures all manpower resources and equipment complement the operational requirement

· Responsible for training and coaching the warehouse personnel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supervises inbound activities (receipt and storage of merchandise and non-merchandise items)Oversees outbound activities (stock replenishment, order fulfillment, picking, and shipping of stocks to the stores)Monitors warehouse operations to ensure all processes are carried out efficiently (accurate picking and on-time delivery to the stores)Responsible for implementing programs that make sure all materials handling equipment are in good working condition (in close coordination with the third-party logistics provider) Allocates manpower resources according to the changing needs of the operationsImplements safety, security, housekeeping, and sanitation programs (in close coordination with the third-party logistics provider)Assists the Distribution Center Manager in the preparation of annual budgetPromotes teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are metPerforms other duties that may be assigned by the Distribution Center Manager from time to time
