Finance and Accounting

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and overall business success.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for management and external stakeholders. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the creation and management of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets. Create reliable financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and evaluate potential financial risks, developing strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial and accounting practices comply with GAAP, tax regulations, and other applicable standards.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury: Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and treasury management, including banking relationships.

Legal

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts to ensure they protect the company's interests and mitigate risks.
  • Compliance Oversight: Thorough understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the company's industry. Develop and monitor compliance programs to ensure alignment.
  • External Counsel Liaison: Manage relationships with external legal counsel, overseeing their work and controlling costs effectively.
  • Dispute Resolution: Provide guidance on potential legal disputes, recommend solutions and collaborate with external counsel when necessary.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage legal risks, implementing preventive strategies and advising senior management.

Leadership and Management

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and mentor the finance, accounting, and legal support staff. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze processes across functions, seeking efficiency improvements and streamlining operations.
  • Technology and Systems: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for finance, accounting, and legal record-keeping to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree (JD).
  • Experience: Minimum of [7-10+] years of progressive experience, including at least [3-5+] years in a leadership role overseeing finance, accounting, and/or legal.
  • Cross-Functional Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge in finance, accounting principles, and legal aspects of business operations.
  • Strategic and Analytical: Proven ability to think strategically, interpret complex data, and translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Compliance and Risk Focus: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and commitment to risk mitigation.
  • Leadership: Outstanding leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, including presenting complex information to diverse audiences.

Job Type: Full-time

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
