Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will play a critical role in managing the overall HR processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and reference checks.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a positive work environment by organizing employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
- Performance Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance appraisal processes and goal setting.
Monitor and track employee performance, providing support for performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and manage open enrollment processes.
Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with claims resolution.
- Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1 and other regulatory filings.
- Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- HR Projects and Initiatives:
Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR management.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
