A UK-based real estate company, the team is experiencing rapid growth.

The role involves overseeing the proper management and compliance with the law of over 400 residential properties, encompassing both landlords and residents. This position is well-suited for an individual who can quickly grasp rules and regulations, adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and exercise judgment and initiative to address challenges when necessary.

The company seeks someone who will take ownership of the designated business area. Regular interaction with the UK management team is expected, and the candidate should be prepared to assume responsibility for the business area, contributing to process improvements. The company values proactive suggestions for enhancement; the candidate is encouraged to confidently propose improvements or provide input for collaborative enhancements.

Job Description:

  • Handling calls about property maintenance issues & instructing contractors and tradesmen where necessary
  • Preparing the Property Managers in the UK for property visits and reporting back to the landlords of any work that is required on the property.
  • Carrying out a virtual inspection on properties using Zoom – you'll get someone to show you around their property on video call, asking them to show you specific areas of the property.
  • Preparing property inventories and checking out reports
  • Checking and adhering to landlords' management instructions
  • Recording and updating all records
  • Invoice management and processing
  • Obtaining competitive tradesmen quotes on behalf of landlords
  • Advising utility companies of tenancy changes and resolving any billing issues for landlords
  • Arranging gas safety certificates and Energy Performance Certificates

  • Have the ability to multi task
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Professional, positive, diligent and diplomatic
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Extremely well organised and able to prioritise your own workload
  • Basic knowledge of routine household maintenance
  • Competent IT Skills
  • You don't mind repetitive tasks, as most days will look the same.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Must work well as a member of a team and independently.
  • Confidentiality is essential, as you will be handling highly sensitive data.

Other:

  • Must be able to work midshift (5:00pm – 1:30am which are UK hours 9:00am – 5:30pm)
  • Prior property management experience is beneficial (but not required)
  • i5 10th Gen or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 2GB Video Card or Integrated Graphics Card , Windows 10 or macOS (no Netbooks or Chromebooks) , Headset with noise cancellation feature
  • Main Internet should be minimum of 20MBPs, wired only
  • An Antivirus Software should be installed, activated and updated
  • Backup Internet
