D.M. Consunji, Incorporated (DMCI) was founded on December 24, 1954, in a small room in Pandacan, Manila, with the vision of building a generation of Filipinos.

DMCI began by constructing chicken houses for the Bureau of Animal Industry. From this, DMCI earned a reputation for on-time delivery and quality work. Since then, major projects such as the Tacloban Coca-Cola Plant and the Bacnotan Cement Plant were awarded to the company.

Your role

The Management Trainee Program offers a holistic exposure on Property Management through classroom & hands-on training and coaching & mentoring by subject matter exports within the organization. As a Management Trainee, you will be developed to:

  • Manage the delivery of the overall property management requirements that adhere quality standards
  • Coordinate property management matters and solutions among various project stake holders
  • Manage the administration and facilities of properties
  • Ensure that properties have efficient collection systems

Company growth - in terms of sales and projects - requires solid leadership and personnel readiness. With this perspective, DMCI Homes started implementing in October 2010 a Management Development Program (MDP), a succession strategy.

The MDP undergoes constant evolution as lessons are learned along the way. Its dynamism is one of its success factors. The other such factors include solid support from the company's management (the company President treats it as a pet project), adequate budget (Php26 M excluding salaries for this year alone), curriculum structure (developed by the company's pillars who have - to borrow a tired cliche - been there done that), thorough monitoring (which is what they do, in coordination with buddies and other partners), experiential coaching given by seasoned company officials, and the malleability of young minds, among others.

About you
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Property Management, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent
  • Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in Property Management
  • Must have excellent scholastic records
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have effective leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work individually and with a team
  • Must be result-oriented, systematic, and organized
  • PRC License is an advantage but is not required
  • Work experience is preferred but not a requirement
