  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OF AT LEAST 2 YEARS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITIES, PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO STUDENTS & OTHER DEPARTMENT. BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & INVENTORY.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • DEVELOPS PROCEDURES FOR RECORDING PROPERTY TRANSACTION i.e. RECEIVING AND DELIVERY TO CONCERNED DEPARTMENTS;
  • EVALUATES EXISTING PROCEDURES AND CONTROL SYSTEMS AND INITIATE CHANGES/IMPROVEMENTS WHERE NEEDED;
  • COORDINATES WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS, IN ESTABLISHING ACCURATE ACCOUNT OF COMPANY PROPERTIES; RECONCILE AND VERIFY PROPERTY CONTROL DATA, THE SYSTEM FIR SURPLUS PROPERTY DISPOSITION INCLUDING RECEIPT, INSPECTION AND STORAGE AND ENDORSEMENT TO CENTRAL SUPPLY WAREHOUSE;
  • ENSURE THAT INVENTORY SYSTEM IS ACCURATE AND UP-TO-DATE;
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND UPDATE OF PROPERTY RECORDS INCLUDING PROPERTIES ASSIGNED TO PERSONNEL AND DEPARTMENT;
  • KEEPS TRACK AND MAINTAIN RECORDS OF COMPANY VEHICLES, HANDLESS REGISTRATION OF COMPANY VEHICLES;
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FILING OF BUSINESS PERMIT, REAL ESTATE TAXES AND ALL RELEVANT BUSINESS TAXES;
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING, UPDATE, AND RENEWAL OF ALL INSURANCES-BUILDINGS, VEHICLES AND ACCIDENT COVERAGE OF STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES;
  • COORDINATES ACCIDENT COVERAGE OF STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES YO ENSURE DOCUMENTS ARE SUBMITTED ON THE PRESCRIBED PERIOD AND MONITORS INSURANCE CLAIMS;
  • SUPERVISES PROPERTY PERSONNEL TO ENSURE ADHERENCE TO DEVELOPED PROPERTY PROCEDURES AND ADHERENCE TO GENERAL COMPANY POLICIES, RULES AND REGULATIONS;
  • CONFERS WITH AND RECOMMENDS, TOGETHER WITH HRD THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES AND STAFFING, COMPENSATION, HIRING, TERMINATION, TRANSFER, AND PROMOTION OF ALL PERSONNEL UNDER PROPERTY;
  • CONDUCTS AND ATTENDS MEETINGS AND TRAINING WITH STAFF AS APPROPRIATE;
  • ENSURES SAFE, CLEAN AND EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE PROPERTY OFFICE TO MEET SERVICE STANDARDS;
  • HANDLES ARGUMENTING CASHIER IF NEEDED, AND
  • PERFORMS OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION.
