Description

The Human Resources Generalist supports employees and managers in the Philippines. The day-to-day work of this role will support all stages of the employee lifecycle including answering general questions, on-boarding, off-boarding, payroll and leaves of absence, facilitating manager training, and partnering with managers to resolve employee relations issues. The HR Generalist will work closely with the rest of the HR team to ensure the delivery of global projects and division specific process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to understand and resolve employee relations issues including providing guidance on company policies and procedures, ensuring laws are followed, advising on disciplinary action, and addressing general concerns.
  • Conduct employment-related investigations and work with legal counsel as necessary with Senior Manager approval.
  • Support processes through the employee lifecycle including performance management, organizational change, and conduct issues.
  • Create and maintain employee handbook.
  • Develop and deliver trainings on various topics
  • Review HR processes and suggest changes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • New Hire process: ensure new hire procedure is properly completed (ensure paperwork is filled out and required documentation is secured.
  • Termination process: ensure termination procedure is properly completed; ensure required documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Reviews, tracks and files all employee corrective actions; provides feedback to management.
  • Reviews and approves all terminations; provides feedback to management.
  • Research, document and maintain compliance with local regulations.
  • Perform the management of the TPC Philippines payroll functions to ensure accurate payments and employee data is properly reported and submitted for payment processing.
  • Manage employee questions and inquiries with case management tools.
  • Assist, advise and educate employees with HRIS system usage.
  • Ensures the strict implementation and adherence to the Code of Conduct and other corporate policies.
  • Ensure that all filing and reporting is complete in a timely manner.

Required Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Proven ability to work independently and on a team.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR
  • Bi-lingual in Tagalog and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine employment laws
