JOB SUMMARY:Administerstheoperation, maintenance,marketingstrategies, revenue generation,andadministration of the Center's housing and facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements and monitors Housing and Facilities (HF) marketing strategies, including the development, production, and dissemination of promotional materials, strengthening of online marketing and linkages with existing clients, developing a new customer base, marketing housing units to prospective clients, and recommending corporate rates and revenue targets.
  • Screens prospective lessees, handles housing units' ocular visits, attends to client inquiries on reservations and leasing, and prepares and distributes housing contracts to lessees within the month of lease effectivity.
  • Monitors payments and collection of Account Receivables of housing units, reconciles with Accounting Unit and Treasury Services Unit on the online payments received from non-SEARCA lessees, and submits monthly summary of HF collection and occupancy report and actual versus target income report to the Unit Head of Facilities Management Unit (FMU).
  • Acts as the building administrator of the Center's housing units and supervises the day-to-day performance of HF functions following Center policies and procedures and property management standards in coordination with other units, departments, and offices.
  • Monitors HF activities, records and manages controllable operating expenses, evaluates budget utilization, and implements cost-saving initiatives.
  • Acts as the HF Petty Cash Fund Custodianandrecords expense items, and presents liquidations to facilitate replenishments.
  • Prepares and submits to the FMU Head documents and reports relevant to HF operation, including but not limited to letters and memos, job requests, purchase requisitions, payment requests, individual commitment targets, quarterly and annual accomplishment reports, and new and streamlined HF policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management major in Commerce or equivalent; Master's Degree is an advantage

Work Experience

At least three (3) years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar post

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in facilities management, cost recovery, safety orientation, administration and coordination, and risk management
  • Advanced proficiency in records management, negotiation, and strategic management
  • Basic proficiency in construction and repairs management, determining and prioritizing housing construction, repairs and maintenance work
  • Basic proficiency in supplier relationship and contract management
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and client orientation skills
  • Proficient in computer software applications (word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, databases, search engines)
  • Good driving skills

Basic knowledge

Working knowledge of housing-related electrical engineering works; General construction principles, requirements, and supplies/materials; Basic financial analysis consisting of cost estimation, budget preparation and utilization
