Industrial & Employee Relations (Human Resources & Recruitment)
- Building, sustaining and advising the business leadership team; Development of a high quality professional team;
- Development of an excellence-oriented team and organizational culture that is high-performance driven, promotes continuous skills improvement and enforces reward and recognition for valuable contributions;
- Establish an effective selection and retention of employees of superior capabilities and great potential;
- Ensure that the company and its officers are appropriately advised on pertinent legal and compliance issues;
- Take the lead in building a flexible HR support services program;
Key Result Areas (Job Expectations & Other Responsibilities):
Policy formulation, review and implementation pertaining to internal hiring, employee engagement/on-boarding, attendance, working hours and discipline;
- Identify and ensure strict adherence to ethical standards for managers and key officers of the company;
- Create a work environment to promote initiative, dedication and team spirit;
- Establish a grievance mechanism to deal with issues and concerns affecting management employee relationship;
- Administer an effective remuneration and employee benefits program to ensure equity and pay for-performance policy;
- Institute a performance management program in order to identify performance gaps, provide essential training and other enhancement tools to optimize employee potential;
- Ensure that a safe and healthy workplace that conforms with occupational safety and health standards;
- Establish an internal communication program to effectively disseminate policies and management plans and programs;
- Provide a mechanism to support corporate communication efforts particularly on matters affecting the reputation of the company;
Specific Areas of Performance Priorities:
- Create an effective on-boarding program
- Establish internal policies and procedures
- Build up HR support services for leadership development
- Establish partnership with industry and professional organizations
- Lead the development and utilization of HR modules in HR software

- Establish tactical management team build up
- Institute diversity in organizational culture
- Manage organizational change
Key Relationships:
- Regular and continuous interface with core management team;
- Cultivate network within the HR external organizations;
Financial Dimensions:
- Manage direct cost for employee engagement & retention programs
- Decision-making and Transactional Authority:
- Principal authority in all DA cases (labor relations);
- Key authority in matters pertaining to compliance and HR concerns;
