Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
The Procurement Management Officer (Non-Technical) provides general support to the Procurement Head in sourcing, screening, and negotiation with suppliers and contractors. Conducts coordination with other departments for all project requirements. Prepares purchase orders, comparative evaluations, and periodic updates of materials cost. Maintains organized files of suppliers' documentation for accreditation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sources and requests for quotations and proposals from suppliers
- Prepares and assess the comparative evaluation of quotations
- Checks and maintains suppliers' file documents for accreditation
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Negotiates with prospective suppliers
- Prepares purchase orders and updates the cost of materials quarterly
- Handles correspondence and negotiates with contractors and suppliers
- Conducts inter-departments coordination for specific requirements
- Assists in all company events and prepare marketing collaterals
- Performs all other tasks that may be assigned to him/her from time to time
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of any 4-year course
- Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in the Procurement
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Willing to do fieldwork from time to time
