Provides general support to the Procurement Management Head in sourcing, screening and negotiation with suppliers and contractors. Conducts coordination with other departments for all project requirements. Prepares purchase orders, comparative evaluations and periodic update of materials cost. Maintains organized files of suppliers' documentation for accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Sources and requests for quotation and proposals from suppliers
  • Prepares and assess the comparative evaluation of quotations
  • Checks and maintains suppliers' file documents for accreditation
  • Negotiates with prospective suppliers
  • Prepares purchase order and updates cost of materials quarterly
  • Handles correspondence and negotiates with contractors and suppliers
  • Conducts inter-departments coordination for specific requirements
  • Performs all other tasks that may be assigned to him/her from time to time

Job Qualifications

  • A graduate of BS Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of working experience in the Construction Industry
  • Background in technical procurement is huge advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City
