Billing and Collection Specialist - Accounts Receivable (Night Shift - WFH)

Accounts Receivable/Credit Control (Accounting)

  • Perform accounts receivable functions, including preparing and amending customer invoices
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure we are billing all the appropriate items correctly
  • Process new accounts and incoming payments.
  • Validate inputs to ensure system integrity
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure accuracy of customer billing
  • Interact with customers and cross-functional teams regarding invoices, statements and credits to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable processes
  • Accurately process and post customers payments made via check, credit card or ACH/wire
  • Assist in month end reconciliations and other close processes
  • Process Accounts Payable on a weekly basis and manage vendor database
  • Assist with preparation of schedules for financial statement audit
  • Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years related accounting experience or bachelor's degree preferred
  • SaaS industry experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Eager, quick learner with strong teamwork spirit
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite preferred
