Job Summary

The Purchasing Supervisor oversees and coordinates all material and services procurement activities. The primary goal is to ensure that all construction materials and equipment are acquired on time, meet quality specifications, and secure the best value for the company.

Detailed Tasks:

-Supervise the daily purchasing activities of the team and manage the entire Purchase Order (PO) process.

-Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers; develop and maintain professional, long-term relationships with key vendors.

-Negotiation: Lead contract and price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.

-Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce purchasing policies and procedures; ensure compliance with internal controls and ethical sourcing.

  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

-Inventory & Delivery: Coordinate with Site Engineers and the Warehouse/Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials and optimal inventory levels.

Requirements :

: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

: 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.

: Skills -Negotiation Skills, Supply Chain Management, Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, Vendor relationship management, Analytical and problem-solving skills, and Proficiency in procurement software.
