We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategies, ensure efficient sourcing, and maintain strong supplier relationships that support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the entire procurement and purchasing process for retail and distribution operations.
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing policies, systems, and controls to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify new sourcing opportunities to strengthen the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Logistics, Inventory, and Finance to align purchasing with operational needs.
  • Analyze market trends and product demands to anticipate purchasing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and procurement regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in ERP or procurement management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Experience in a retail, distribution, or trading environment is a strong advantage.
