Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Bookkeeper
with proven Australian bookkeeping knowledge. This role involves managing financial records for a number of 3rd party Australian clients. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organised, and familiar with Australian accounting practices and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Process invoices, payments, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare BAS statements, GST submissions, and financial reports
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable and client billing
  • Liaise with Australian accountants and business units
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Assist with budget planning and cash flow management

Requirements

  • Remote position
  • Mandatory:
    Experience bookkeeping for Australian companies
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as
    Xero
  • Strong English communication skills (written & spoken)
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines
  • Available to start immediately or with short notice
