Key Responsibilities:

  • Departmental Management: Overseeing daily operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation within the service department.
  • Team Leadership: Managing, motivating, and developing service technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the service process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery, and addressing customer complaints.
  • Financial Performance: Developing and implementing strategies to improve service department profitability, managing expenses, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Operational Efficiency: Implementing and improving service procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing parts and inventory, ensuring proper stocking levels and organization.
  • Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as sales and parts, to optimize workflow and enhance customer experience.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Training and Development: Providing guidance, training, and support to service department employees to improve performance and career growth.
