Job Summary

The Junior Accounting Associate will provide essential support to the Finance and Accounting Department by assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of financial records. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, helps maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, and contributes to the smooth execution of day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing schedules and reconciliations.
  • Assist in monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper documentation for financial audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documents for financial reports.
  • Provide support in preparing government reportorial requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial data gathering and validation.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as may be assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably with at least 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site at Makati Life Medical Center.
