Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Inspections:

  • Safety Program Development:

    Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Incident Investigation:

    Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Safety Training:

    Provide safety training to construction workers on various topics, including hazard recognition, proper use of equipment, and emergency procedures.

  • Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident investigations, and training activities.

  • Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, including OSHA standards and local regulations.

  • Communication:

    Communicate safety information and concerns to management, supervisors, and workers.

  • Collaboration:

    Work with project managers and supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

  • Safety Promotion:

    Promote a positive safety culture on the construction site by encouraging safe work practices and employee involvement in safety programs.

  • Emergency Response:

    Assist with emergency response procedures, including first aid, evacuation, and incident management.

  • Equipment Management:

    Ensure proper maintenance and use of safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
