About the Role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace adheres to the highest standards of occupational safety and health compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, compile, and implement company-wide health and safety programs.
  • Monitor compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Lead safety briefings, trainings, and meetings to share best practices and ensure awareness.
  • Identify, manage, and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste materials.
  • Promote and support safety initiatives across all departments.
  • Standardize safety procedures and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Ensure timely and accurate safety reporting and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Safety Practitioner.
  • Holder of a valid Safety Practitioner Certificate/ID.
  • Must have the following certifications:
  • BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health)
  • COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health)
  • LCM (Loss Control Management)
  • HIRAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control)
  • TOT (Training of Trainers)
  • SPA (Safety Program Audit)
  • Must also have additional OSH-related training such as:
  • First Aid Certification
  • Scaffolding Erection NCII
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
