  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement GT sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 solid years of experience as a General Trade Sales Manager or equivalent role
  • Strong FMCG background is required (food, beverage, personal care, or household preferred)
  • Proven experience managing and growing General Trade channels
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing field sales teams
  • Deep understanding of trade dynamics, distribution models, and market behavior
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actions
  • Willing to travel and conduct regular fieldwork

What you will be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor GT supervisors/representatives to ensure effective field execution
  • Expand numeric and weighted distribution across assigned areas
  • Analyze market movements, competitor activities, and sales trends to inform strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and key trade partners
  • Ensure effective route planning, merchandising standards, and trade program execution
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Warehouse to ensure stock availability and alignment with promotions
