Job Summary:

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent. This role ensures that all compensation and benefits practices are in line with current legislation and are competitive within the industry.

Compensation:

  • Assist in developing and managing salary structures, job grading, and compensation guidelines.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay.
  • Evaluate and recommend compensation adjustments (e.g., annual increases, promotions, bonuses).

Benefits:

  • Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, etc.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issues.
  • Liaise with external vendors and brokers for insurance, retirement, and other benefit programs.
  • Monitor benefits usage, trends, and costs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead or support open enrollment processes.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports related to payroll, benefits, and compensation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and systems related to C&B activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • [1-2]+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or HR generalist roles.
  • Has knowledge of local labor laws and benefits policies.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
