General Summary
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the company's certified payroll reports. They will ensure that all data is entered and reported correctly on a weekly basis.
Core Areas Of Responsibility
- Accurately process and calculate payroll for union employees – Certified Payroll Report, weekly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Generate payroll reports as needed for management review
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accuracy of employee data and information
- Submission of DAS and other forms to general contractors.
- Contract compliance as required
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time based on the needs of the organization
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- 3-5 years knowledge as a payroll clerk or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
- Strong communication skills to address employee inquiries and concerns
- Have a positive attitude when faced with challenges.
- Work at a fast pace while maintaining quality of work.
Education and Experience: Associate of Science Degree in business preferred.
