Job Title: Accounting Clerk (Bookkeeping Assistant)

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and supporting records
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure balances are accurate
  • Track accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in payroll preparation and documentation
  • Prepare simple financial reports (cash flow, expenses, balances)
  • Organize and file invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
  • Coordinate with external accountants for compliance and tax reporting

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or clerical finance work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Highly organized, trustworthy, and able to work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information

Preferred:

  • Experience in small business or multi-brand companies
  • Familiarity with Philippine BIR compliance is an advantage
