The Collection Team Member is responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts and performing administrative activities to recover outstanding payments. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely collections while maintaining a professional, respectful, and empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect outstanding balances
  • Negotiate repayment plans and settlements in line with company policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer communications and payment arrangements
  • Follow up on broken promises to pay and escalate unresolved cases when required
  • Ensure compliance with debt collection regulations and internal procedures
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach
  • Effective negotiation skills to drive successful collections
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude

Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • B2B collections experience (as per role/grade requirements)
  • College graduate
