Job Description:
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of mandatory contributions and loans (SSS, Pag-Ibig & Philhealth), Year-end report (Alphalist-BIR), HMO voucher for payment.
- Calculating employee salaries considering overtime hours, 13th month pay, bonuses and deductions.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to hours worked.
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries.
- Completion of documents related to payroll processing such as attendance record, leave, offsetting, overtime and rest day form.
- Preparation and submission of biweekly and monthly payroll for employees including data entry and timekeeping.
- Monitor paid and unpaid leaves.
- Issuing statements detailing earnings and deductions.
- Issuing of Certificate of Contribution such as Philhealth to employees as requested.
- Certify Employees Loan such as SSS & Pag-Ibig.
- Issuing Payslip for monthly and weekly/daily paid employees.
- Issuing of Quit Claims Waver
- Processing of Donations (receiving of donations, donation entry and verification, generation and sorting of Official Receipts) submitted to the foundation with the supervision and approval of Head Volunteer of Treasury & Accounting Department.
- Maintains simple monthly excel worksheets to reflect a much-detailed breakdown and subcategories to which donations belong under (as requested by donor or Commissioner – Bohol, Tacloban, VIP, etc.), as well a listing of receipt issued on each day donations are processed and to be later written into the books required by BIR.
- Helps to convey system requirements and other needed updates or corrections to DonPH (Donation System) to System Developer. Provide technical support to DonPH.
Qualifications Standards:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or any business course
Professional Experience
- With at least (1) year work related experience
- Must have knowledge and experience of ICT-based office applications and tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, cloud-sharing platforms, etc.)
- Experience in humanitarian, NGO, charity or government social welfare organizations is desirable.
Technical Competencies (Job Knowledge and Skills)
- Has advanced computer skills in Microsoft 365 applications and Google programs.
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal); grammatically and structurally proper, and can articulate and compose coherent reports
