Job Specification:

  • Interacts with Operations to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date.
  • Plans, studies and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as direct materials, direct labor and overhead.
  • Analyzes actual labor, material, and overhead cost against Standard/Budget. Researches and explains variances. Reports this information monthly or as needed.
  • Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
  • Analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports.
  • Prepares and analyzes project cost report by comparing budget versus actual.
  • Prepares and analyzes project profitability report; provides productivity analysis a per project basis.
  • Assists in the month-end and year-end closing of general ledger.
