Job Summary

The Accounting Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day accounting operations for the company's e-commerce and food business divisions. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial management to support strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting team, maintain internal controls, manage budgets, and support financial audits.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for both e-commerce and food operations.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple business units and sales channels (online platforms, POS systems, delivery apps, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, cash flow, and profitability trends.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.

Accounting Operations

  • Manage general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Review daily sales reconciliation from online platforms (Shopee, Lazada, website, etc.) and in-store POS systems.
  • Oversee inventory and cost accounting processes for food production, supplies, and ingredients.
  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory adjustments.
  • Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies for financial audits and compliance.
  • Ensure timely filing of VAT, income tax, and other statutory reports.
  • Safeguard company assets through effective internal audit procedures.

Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; ensure efficient workflow and task distribution.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, HR, and marketing teams to align financial goals with business activities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in E-commerce, Food Service, or Retail industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, and online sales reconciliation.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity business environment.
