Job Overview

At Desire Solar, we are actively seeking an energetic and results-driven Solar Consultant. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding the reach and impact of our solar solutions by engaging with residential clients. We are seeking individuals with a background in the solar industry; those with experience in client engagement, outreach, or customer-facing roles will also be strongly considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized solar solutions based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Present and explain financial options, including incentives, tax credits, and financing programs.
  • Present detailed solution proposals and client agreements tailored to specific homeowner needs.
  • Finalize client agreements and ensure seamless handoff to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and follow-up.
  • Meet/Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field/renewable energy, engineering, sales, marketing, or environmental sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience in client acquisition and revenue generation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and familiarity with solar financing options and incentives is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Desirable: Experience in solar sales industry.
