We are looking for result-oriented candidates with a passion in the renewable energy industry. The Interconnection Utility Coordinator is responsible for the operations and daily performance of team of design engineers. Interconnection Utility Coordinator is responsible for assisting in allstages of interconnection, which includes compiling, responding to deficiencies, and obtaining interconnection agreements with various utilities. This position requires an ability to think critically, collaboration with individuals and teams, and a passion for delivering high quality results.

Responsibilities

 Submitting Utilities Applications online, through email, and/or through mail.

 Resolving any rejection sent by utility companies by using problem solving skills.

 Contacting customers when appropriate to resolve utility rejections.

 Diligently monitor the status of submitted applications, proactively managing the approval process within the established timelines.

 Prepare and submit Permission to Operate (PTO) applications to relevant utilities once installation and inspection are completed.

 Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring all required documentation is submitted to customers for signature.

 Occasionally taking inbound calls by either utility companies or customers about resolving utility rejections or getting customer's systems turned on.

 Other duties as assigned. Requirements  Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent in work experience.

 Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Salesforce CRM

 1-5 years' experience in residential solar interconnection or permitting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

 Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships.

 Basic knowledge of utility distribution grid interconnections, net metering, renewable energy

Ability to understand basic electrical concepts (e.g., voltage, current, power, energy)

 Interconnection experience with backup batteries required.

 Must be detail oriented and must be able to stay focused while submitting utility applications to not cause any discrepancies in information.

 Must be able to communicate professionally through email and over the phone.

 Fluency in English is a must.

 Ability to work US working hours.
