About the Role

At The Upper Deck, our Membership Consultants are more than salespeople — they're relationship builders, community ambassadors, and lifestyle advocates. You'll be the first face people meet when they walk in, and the voice they hear when they ask, "What's this place all about?"

You'll help working professionals, fitness enthusiasts, families, and aspiring athletes find their space in our multi-sport urban hub. From the courts to the gym, spa, pool, dive center, and climbing wall — you'll know what we offer, and how to match it with what people need.

This is a sales role, but also a mission-driven role. You'll help people commit to a lifestyle upgrade — and back that up with real service, follow-through, and energy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

  • Reach out to leads via calls, walk-ins, referrals, and social media.
  • Schedule and conduct facility tours that highlight Upper Deck's unique value.
  • Use the 6-Step Sales Process to personalize presentations and close memberships.
  • Process new applications and ensure smooth onboarding.

Relationship Building

  • Engage with members daily to support retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Represent the brand at events, partner activations, and local outreach.

Performance Targets

  • Minimum Weekly KPIs:
  • 20 leads
  • 30 calls per day
  • 5 appointments
  • 5 sales presentations
  • 2 new joiners
  • Maintain strong conversion metrics:
  • 35% Call-to-Appointment
  • 70% Appointment Show Rate
  • 25% Lead-to-Sale
  • 70% Close Ratio

Reporting & Admin

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales trackers.
  • Coordinate with front desk, trainers, and events teams.
  • Assist with club marketing efforts and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a gym, wellness, or sales setting
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and service-driven
  • CRM or basic spreadsheet experience preferred
  • Confident, approachable, and high-energy personality
  • Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, including weekends and events
